Templates

Templates are pre-built patterns that help you quickly accomplish common data tasks with AI assistance. Each template is designed for a specific purpose.

Categories

Templates are organized into two main categories:

SQL Templates

• Generate SQL: Convert natural language descriptions into SQL queries
• Fix SQL: Identify and correct syntax errors in SQL queries
• Optimize SQL: Improve query performance and efficiency

Bonus Templates

• Generate Regex: Create regular expressions from text descriptions
• Explain Regex: Get detailed explanations of regex patterns
• Generate Excel/Sheets Formulas: Convert text descriptions into spreadsheet formulas
• Explain Excel/Sheets Formulas: Understand complex spreadsheet formulas

Using Templates

1. Access Templates: Navigate to the Templates section in your dashboard
2. Search or Browse:
   • Use the search bar to find specific templates
   • Browse through categories to explore available options
3. Select Template: Click on any template card to open it
4. Configure:
   • Enter your specific requirements in the text field
   • For SQL-related templates, optionally select a database connection for context
5. Generate: Submit your request and receive AI-generated results

Database Connections

When using SQL-related templates, you can optionally link to your database connections to:

• Provide schema context for more accurate results
• Ensure generated queries match your database structure
• Get database-specific syntax recommendations
